The Endowment Fund at the 2nd Faculty of Medicine of Charles University in Prague was founded on 22. 2. 1993 by the faculty itself. We have been standing by the academic community for over three decades and during that time we have become an integral part of faculty life.
The purpose of the fund is to create material and financial conditions necessary for the versatile activities of the academic community and the faculty public and to raise the spiritual and material level of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine. To this end, the fund concentrates financial, material and other resources, which it uses for the benefit of the academic community and the faculty public.
The endowment fund supports educational and research activities of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine, quick access of students to technologies and new forms of teaching, provides space for individual projects of motivated students or employees — for example, scientists or teachers.
The fund also supports the development of the 2nd Faculty of Medicine as a whole: equipment, events, artistic projects and everything that contributes to studying, working and living well at the faculty.
